The Bihar state office of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) observed a solemn tribute to former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. On this occasion, State President and Minister for Revenue and Land Reforms Dr. Dilip Jaiswal, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Samrat Choudhary, Shri Vijay Sinha, and other senior BJP leaders and office bearers observed a moment of silence to honor his contributions.Expressing deep sorrow over the demise of Dr. Manmohan Singh, Dr. Dilip Jaiswal said, “Dr. Manmohan Singh’s passing is an irreparable loss to the nation. He was a distinguished economist, a humble statesman, and a dedicated leader who played a significant role in the country’s progress. His simplicity, wisdom, and commitment to duty will remain an inspiration for generations.”Dr. Jaiswal prayed for the departed soul’s peace and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. He added, “Dr. Singh’s life exemplified selfless service to the nation and pioneering economic reforms. The BJP family will always remember his invaluable contributions.”Deputy Chief Minister Shri Samrat Choudhary and Shri Vijay Sinha also paid tributes, recalling Dr. Singh’s pivotal role in shaping the nation’s economic and political landscape.
The gathering concluded with a two-minute silence observed by BJP workers and leaders as a mark of respect to the late Prime Minister. They pledged to uphold the values and ideals he stood for in the interest of the nation.
