He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has surpassed the record of Pawan Kumar Chamling, who served 8,930 days as Chief Minister of Sikkim, thereby becoming India’s longest-serving Head of Government. With 8,931 days in public life—first as Chief Minister of Gujarat and now as Prime Minister—he has set a new benchmark of commitment, continuity, and leadership.
The State President further noted that PM Modi’s working style is exceptional. He consistently dedicates long hours each day to nation-building. Rising from humble beginnings to the highest office in the country, and continuing to serve with the same energy and commitment, reflects his extraordinary personality and firm resolve.
