On 15 January, 2021 an exhibition under “Explore Toys of Incredible India” was organized by India Tourism Delhi at Amroha, Uttar Parades. Main Focus of the event was to promote the local artisans. Amroha is famous for manufacturing of Dholak, wooden craft like flask and Jari/embroidery work. In this exhibition more than 30 artisian/workers from different field of Dholak manufacturing, Jari/embroidery work, manufacturing of wooden flask/craft participated. The exhibition also showcased the traditional quawalli songs by the local quawali group artists consist of 07 quawals. The exhibition was visited by more than 50 people.
It was also attended by Mr. Rakesh Yadav, GM DIC Amroha. Event was coordinated and managed by following officials of the India Tourism Delhi – Mr. Awanish Mishra, Mr. Saleem Mohammad and Mr. Pawan under the direction of Mr. Anil Oraw, Regional Director of Northern India. These exhibitions and promotions under #Toy Tourism #Dekho Apna Desh & #Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India will certainly help the local artisans and workers to promote their products on the global platform and enhance the Tourism of our Country.
