Saurabh Nigam -Lucknow bureau : The 9th International Yoga Day was organized with great pomp and gaiety on 21st June 2023 at the campus of Central Sector Headquarters, CRPF, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow under the leadership of Mr. Satpal Rawat, Inspector General of Police. This program was organized from 6 am on wards. Mr. Rawat told that in the Force we all do physical exercises, PT/Parade and Yoga on regular basis. This helps the Jawans in the Force to remain stress-free and healthy. Yoga has been made a way of life in the Force by adopting it in our regular activities. He said that Yoga is the heritage of our country which balances our mind, phisical strengthen & soul. In today’s programme, tremendous enthusiasm was seen among the officers and jawans. Yoga day was celebrated as a festival. Various types of Yogasanas were practiced and it was decided that not only oneself but also every family, friends & society would be connected with Yoga and try their best to make Yoga a way of life for the theme of 9th International Yoga Day “Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.He further added that directions are issued to subordinate offices of this Sector to celebrate it with enthusiastically. The events to be celebrated have been uploaded on the website provided by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. Alongwith this, the Jawans showing the best Yoga under the entire Central Sector CRPF will also be selected and Honoured on this occasion and it will also be updated on various social media platforms to create awareness among the general public.The program was concluded with the National Anthem. Shri Sunil Kumar, Deputy Inspector General of Police & other Officers and Jawans of different ranks of Central Sector CRPF participated in the event.
